Okay, so I honestly don't know what's more shocking: the fact that BigHit miraculously discovered Europe exists or the fact that I managed to get a ticket? Because YES, I MANAGED TO BUY A TICKET FOR THE FRIDAY CONCERT IN PARIS!
I'm so happy to see them live! Last time they were here was for KCON Paris 2016 and I had my baccalaureate exams (I had to take some exams to graduate high school) so I missed them. I'm so excited and kinda terrified too somehow? Some people who went to the Seoul concerts said the experience was almost life-changing (and they are frequent concert goers...) so I don't know how it's going to be ~
Since I'm a member of multiple ARMY groups on the internet, I realised that A LOT of people coming to the Paris concerts are actually not French. I mean, I was expecting it since France is more accessible than, let's say, the United Kingdom to some Europeans but it was surprising. Some French fans are also not from the Île-de-France and I guess the Parisian Region might be a little overwhelming for some people.
That is why I decided to write this.
Now, I'm not telling you to bring (or not) exactly what I'm going to list in here but you can somehow have an idea of what you should have with you for the concert.
First of all, you need to remember that Paris is still under the national security alert system, VIGIPIRATE (because of the terrorist attacks we previously had). You might notice soldiers patrolling around Paris when coming here, that's part of Vigipirate. I don't exactly know what's our current Vigipirate level but I guess it's the "Vigilance" level (which is the lowest one if I'm not mistaken).

Being under Vigipirate also means: more throughout security checks EVERYWHERE. And that includes AccorHôtels Arena (Bercy Arena). I know it might seem bothersome, long and tiring but trust me, it's worth it to guarantee our security. Here's a quick list of items that are prohibited by the arena, it's written in French but the pictures are pretty understandable (click on the picture to see it correctly).
So now that I'm done with my explanation, let's start our list (finally ~).

don't forget:
-> your glasses, if you wear them.
-> your keys/hotel room pass.

- don't forget to print your ticket! They will NOT let you in if you show them your e-ticket on your phone since it's more difficult to scan it from a cellphone screen. Just bring a printed copy of it with you.
- I don't know if it's real since I purchased my ticket directly from Ticketmaster under my own name but some people told me you might need a photocopy of the person who sold you their ticket if you got it from a reseller. Then again, I don't know if it's real.

- I definitely recommend using a small wallet.
- bring an ID card with you, if your ID card is written in a language other than French/English or isn't considered valid by the French government, I highly recommend you bring your passport with you.
- bring some cash with you, just in case (no more than 50€ though).
- keep a small map of the public transportation system, they're available for free in every subway station.
![ᴅɪᴅ ʏᴏᴜ sᴇᴇ ᴍʏ ʙᴀɢ? [kpop concert essentials - #BTSinParis edition]](https://ekladata.com/XHKwGvMFCXN6fTzlE1eqTe1wmvY@250x250.png)
- obviously.
- don't forget to download "BTS Official Lightstick Ver.3".

- check the list of forbidden items first though.
- bring an additional SD card in case you run out of storage during the concert.

- for people living in the Île-de-France.

- keep some in your wallet (away from coins though. coins, cellphones and keys demagnetize tickets).
- I recommend keeping some spare tickets with you even if you have a Navigo Pass (I always have some with me).
![ᴅɪᴅ ʏᴏᴜ sᴇᴇ ᴍʏ ʙᴀɢ? [kpop concert essentials - #BTSinParis edition]](https://ekladata.com/-2_tvxF5Sb1RXlk4__hl9qfMeRI@250x250.jpg)
- I recently succeeded in purchasing mine after missing three restocks: I am LIVING.

- I personally don't own any support banners and I think I might have a hard time holding it while holding my ARMY BOMB but you do you if you have one and you want to bring it.

- depending on the weather and where you're going to be located during the concert. I'm seated but I know some people in the pit might not like crowded places so small fans might help you handle it. Also, if you're bringing an umbrella, be sure it's a retractable one or you will be forced to give it up.
![ᴅɪᴅ ʏᴏᴜ sᴇᴇ ᴍʏ ʙᴀɢ? [kpop concert essentials - #BTSinParis edition]](https://ekladata.com/oUsPk2ZtHD5s0fq_lLxtmWZsM88@250x250.jpg)
- mine includes: pads, pantyliners, sanitary wipes, hydro-alcoholic gel/hand sanitizer, painkillers, Kleenex, lip balm, hand cream, hair bands, small folding/pop-up hairbrush with mirror, peppermint chewing-gum, disposable plastic bag (personal trashbag). I know it might seem like a lot but I keep everything in a small kit and it fits, I always keep it in my bag wherever I go. I guess you might not need any of them if you're not a woman?
![ᴅɪᴅ ʏᴏᴜ sᴇᴇ ᴍʏ ʙᴀɢ? [kpop concert essentials - #BTSinParis edition]](https://ekladata.com/L7naxoXhHq2SHlrqUDT0XyGiZxY@250x250.jpg)
- you might not see be able to see the boys perfectly if you're seated far from the stage and the big screens will not always show all the members. As I mentioned it, it's just optional.
![ᴅɪᴅ ʏᴏᴜ sᴇᴇ ᴍʏ ʙᴀɢ? [kpop concert essentials - #BTSinParis edition]](https://ekladata.com/B0kOsjfFIVZFR9239WKsmah6OD4@250x250.jpg)
- if you're queuing for too long, it might get boring so you might want to bring your speakers to listen to some music with your friends.

- don't forget that water bottles are forbidden.
Annnnnnd that's it, I guess! Let me know in the comments if I missed something and I'll add it! I hope this list will help you prepare yourself for the concerts!
